right, I don't intend on doing the for every race, but hey ho, caught up in the moment
I have worked out the average positions of the drivers and teams after 1st and 2nd practice
Williams 2.75
Brawn 4.25
Toyota 7.25
Ferrari 7.75
Force India 11.25
Redbull 12.25
McLaren 14
Renault 14.75
STR 17.5
So the first 3 teams with trick diffusers are 1-2-3, then we have the old guns Ferrari being best of the rest. Followed by a suprise Force India! However I would imagine that Vettle had a problem in 1st Practise as he was 6 seconds of the pace so I would imagine that Redbull will be ahead of Force India. Mclaren and Renault have already said they have problems. STR, I am a bit suprised that they are that far behind Redbull.
Rosberg 1
Barrichello 3
Nakajima 4.5
Kubica 5
Button 5.5
Raikkonen 7
Glock 7
Trulli 7.5
Massa 8.5
Sutil 9
Webber 10.5
Alonso 11
Kovalainen 11
Heidfeld 12.5
Fisichella 13.5
Vettel 14
Hamilton 17
Bourdais 17.5
Buemi 17.5
Piquet 18.5

Ferrari Have already admitted that last years late title battle has hurt them this year, but I can not imagine that it will be hurting them for long. However they might have a driver power struggle going on. McLaren-Mercedes Seem to be struggling, however I can not imagine them struggling for long but I think it is a bit more of a difficult fix than they are saying BMW Sauber Pre season testing has been OK, however they sand bagged a lot last year for preseason Renault Alonso has already said they are off the pace, however as they have the ugliest car on the grid, I hope they are not on screen much Toyota With Honda pulling the plug, Toyota might be seeing a way out, and good results this year might make it easier to swallow the expense Torro Rosso-Ferrari A newey designed car with a ferrari engine, should be good but will struggle to do a repeat of last year, especially as the drive line up might not be as strong Redbull-Renault embarassed after last year by the B team, however they now have there star asset from last year Williams-Toyota Been fast in preseason perhaps this could be Nico's year. however I think they might not be able to develope as much as other teams during the season Force India-Mercedes Have big dreams but have not shown anything good in testing Brawn-Mercedes |
Brawn has saved the Honda team, will need get good results to get the funding for next year. They should be fast, lets just hope the Diffuser issue goes in there favour or it might be Hero to Zero time.
